DSC_1922 Tommyfish (Limnichthys polyactis) a small fish with bulging eyes and thick fleshy upper lip. Not easily seen because it sits buried in shell or sand with only it's head exposed, and when disturbed, darts away rapidly and dives into the sand. Portobello, Otago Harbour.
