DSC_2205 Fragile limpet, or tupere (Atalacmea fragilis) group, together with one Small green limpet (Notoacmea elongata). Note the characteristic 'fingerprint' pattern on the shell. The greenish colour of these limpets is the result of the underlying green mantle tissue showing through the very thin shell. Found under small and large rocks on semi-exposed coastlines.
