DSC_3915 Wellington City's harbour is vulnerable to sea level rise, because of it's tidal range. Infrastructure built in the 1930s, 40s and 50s, to withstand 85cm of tidal flux, has already been stressed by a 20cm sea level rise over the past century. The predicted 30cm rise over the next 50 years, may well see roads, sea walls, and train tracks being more regularly breached by the sea. Breaker Bay, Wellington *
