DSC_5501 Variable nudibranch (Aphelodoris lactuosa) found in low tide zone down to 40m. It is common, but difficult to spot amongst hydroids, sponges and ascidians in semi-sheltered to exposed conditions. Occurs throughout the North, South and Stewart Islands and on the Three Kings Islands and the Chathams.
