11005-00115 Schauinsland's slug (Pseudaneitea schauinslandi) a large leaf vein slug with a relictual range which extends from NE Nelson to the Marlborough Sounds (on Stephens Island, Maud Isand and Durville Island), and some Wellington coastal islands such as Mana Island. It is still abundant on those islands free of mammalian predators, but sparse on the South Island mainland now.
