11003-38004 Kawekaweau (Hoplodactylus delcourti) an artists model of the world's largest gecko with a body length in excess of 600mm. Now extinct, the kawekaweau was at one time considered to have perhaps lived in New Zealand's northern forests, around the Hokianga, although others now think it may have lived instead in the forests of New Caledonia.
